John F. Moriarty III

John F. Moriarty III is a seasoned leader with over 20 years of experience in business development within the substance abuse (SA) and mental health (MH) sectors. As the Regional Vice President of Business Development at Aliya, John brings a wealth of expertise in digital marketing, team development, organizational leadership, and strategic growth.

Throughout his career, John has worked extensively with CEAPs, organized labor groups, first responders, and members of the military, building trusted relationships and delivering impactful solutions tailored to their unique needs. A native of Brooklyn, New York, he now resides in Northern New Jersey and is a passionate golfer who values time spent with family and friends. He is also personally in recovery, bringing deep empathy and insight to his professional work.

Before joining Aliya, John played a pivotal role in one of the fastest-growing organizations in the SA/MH space, helping scale operations from $1.5 million to over $85 million annually by 2016. He has held leadership positions including Vice President of Business Development and Chief Marketing Officer.

In 2016, John founded Sober Consultants, a consulting firm through which he has advised numerous industry leaders. His work includes training business development teams, overhauling SEO and PPC strategies, and crafting long-term marketing and growth plans that drive results.
