Detox and Rehab Facility in Illinois

Medical detoxification, also known as detox is the process of flushing out all traces of drugs or alcohol from a person’s body. This is typically the first stage of the recovery process when beginning alcohol and drug addiction treatment. While some people attempt to detox on their own, it’s highly recommended that detox occurs under medical supervision, at a professional treatment and rehab center. This is especially important for alcohol detox and some drug detox as withdrawal symptoms could be very serious. Detox can be extremely uncomfortable and potentially life-threatening due to withdrawal symptoms that are often experienced when substance use is discontinued, especially for those individuals who have developed a chemical dependency.

Our detox program in Illinois will guide you through detox as comfortably and as safely as possible. Our compassionate clinical team will provide around-the-clock health care and administer medications that can help manage the cravings and negative effects of withdrawal.

All rehab clients are provided with personalized treatment plans that include a variety of science-backed treatment modalities for treating the body, mind, and spirit. Depending on your specific needs, your customized treatment program may include counseling, behavioral therapy, medication-assisted treatment, meditation and mindfulness therapies, inpatient rehab, health and wellness education, nutrition therapy, fitness and exercise programs, and recreational activities.

We accept in-and-out-of-state clients and proudly support military veterans. Aliya Health Group does not discriminate based on age, sex, or gender.

We believe that everyone has the potential for growth and healing, and we are committed to helping our clients reach their full potential.

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)

Our partial hospitalization program (PHP) is an intensive level of care that provides structured therapy and support for individuals who require more intensive treatment than traditional outpatient services.

PHP includes clients 5 hours of structured treatment programming throughout the day, 5 days a week. During partial hospitalization, clients can live at home or at our recovery home right next door to the treatment facility.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

Our intensive outpatient program (IOP) is another option for those who may not need 24-hour supervision but still require structured therapy and support. As a step down from PHP, this program allows individuals to receive treatment while also maintaining their daily responsibilities such as work or school.

For this reason, intensive outpatient services focus on self-discovery, integration back into society, and regular responsibilities. Clients attend treatment for 9 to 15 hours per week but have the flexibility of living at our sober living residences or at home while attending sessions at our Illinois rehab center in the days or evenings.

Outpatient Program (OP)

Our outpatient program is the last step before transitioning into full independence in recovery. It’s structured around sessions meeting three hours per day, one to two days per week. Clients have a supportive place to process stressful situations and continue learning how to handle sobriety while living at home and maintaining a regular work and family schedule.

Illinois Substance Abuse Statistics

Each year, countless residents of Illinois grapple with addiction, a chronic disorder stemming from drug or alcohol use. This affliction can even result in legal entanglements. When individuals find themselves in the throes of addiction, they struggle to rein in their cravings for substances, risking not only their financial stability but also their social standing, employment, and clean record. The economic impact of addiction on the state is substantial, estimated to exceed $3.5 billion.

Alcohol Addiction

It’s estimated that more than 6% of adults in Illinois are dealing with alcohol addiction. These people can benefit greatly from alcohol addiction treatment. Alcohol detox may be the first step. This allows a patient to withdraw from using alcohol under the supervision of trained medical staff. Some patients experience physical and mental symptoms that require medication to ease the side effects. From there, some patients may need to spend time in our residential treatment center or enroll in outpatient services. Our clinical staff will consult with your healthcare team to decide the best course of action. We also work with your insurance provider to help you get an idea of the cost of alcohol addiction treatment.

Marijuana Addiction

As of 2015, Illinois led the nation in youth use of marijuana according to the Illinois High-Intensity Drug Trafficking Area. At the time, Illinois youth use was 55% higher than the national average and more than twice that of Utah, the state with the least marijuana use among youth.

Heroin Addiction

Law enforcement seizures of heroin increased by 2,035% from 2011 to 2015. The number of both fatal and non-fatal overdoses attributed to heroin in the state has similarly increased according to a “Heroin in Illinois” preliminary assessment established by an interdisciplinary, public-private task force in 2017. In the last decade, heroin has been such an increasingly severe problem in the state that several agencies and institutions, including the Illinois Attorney General’s Office, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Illinois Department of Human Services, and others created a Heroin Response Work Group. They’ve branded heroin overdose an emergency.

Opioid Addiction

As of 2020, opioid analgesic overdoses accounted for a greater share of fatal overdoses than any other drug subset. Fentanyl, however, was the primary driver of this trend. They collectively totaled just shy of 800 fatal overdoses, but only 258 of those were attributable to opioids or combo meds not including fentanyl. Fentanyl accounted for the other 540.

Cost of Drug and Alcohol Rehab in Chicago

One common obstacle to seeking addiction treatment is the perceived high cost. It’s no secret that healthcare in the U.S. can be expensive. However, when we consider the true expense of addiction, the cost of treatment pales in comparison. The financial burden of drugs and alcohol often surpasses that of any other recurring expense, making substance abuse treatment a worthwhile investment. And let’s not forget about the toll addiction takes on one’s physical and emotional well-being, leading to additional healthcare costs, damaged relationships, depression, and anxiety.

While detox and rehab do require a financial commitment, they are ultimately investments in oneself that offer immense potential for a better life in recovery. At our treatment center in Illinois, we prioritize affordability, striving to make addiction treatment accessible to all individuals in need. The cost of medical detox and rehab can vary depending on factors such as treatment plans, medications, levels of care, and insurance coverage. Rest assured, we are dedicated to helping you explore options to cover the cost, regardless of the specific figure involved.

Alcohol and Drug Detox

Detoxifying from long-term addiction, whether it’s opioids or alcohol, can be an incredibly challenging journey. At Aliya Health Group treatment facilities, we offer safe and medically assisted detox treatment to help you manage withdrawal and begin your path to recovery. Our comprehensive drug and alcohol detox services are designed to empower you on your quest for true freedom from substance use disorder.

Detoxification often represents a significant hurdle in the journey to recovery. During this process, as the body eliminates toxic substances, the brain typically reacts by experiencing withdrawal symptoms while readjusting to its normal state without drugs or alcohol. The severity and duration of addiction, as well as the specific substance involved, can contribute to an array of distressing withdrawal symptoms upon cessation of substance use.
