Tiffany Nelson

Tiffany Nelson, SUDPT, is the Executive Director for Royal Life Centers’ detox and inpatient rehabilitation facility in Sumner, Washington. With a strong background in leadership, she ensures smooth daily operations, creating a safe and supportive environment for staff and clients. Her responsibilities include compliance, quality assurance, program development, staff training, client advocacy, and building partnerships with community organizations.

Tiffany began her career in behavioral health in 2021 as a Behavioral Health Technician at Royal Life Centers. Through hard work and dedication, she quickly advanced into leadership roles, including Lead Behavioral Health Technician and Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor, before being promoted to Director of Operations and later Executive Director—a dual role she currently holds.

Her early roles gave her hands-on experience in client care and leadership, laying the foundation for her current responsibilities. As Executive Director, she oversees operations, ensures regulatory compliance, drives strategic planning, and fosters staff development—all while maintaining a commitment to exceptional client care. Her efforts were recognized when she was named Employee of the Year in 2022.

Tiffany is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in psychology and her Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee (SUDPT) license to deepen her expertise. She has also completed training in the Columbia-Suicide Severity Rating Scale (CSSR) and the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM), enhancing her ability to support clients.

Her passion for behavioral health is personal, inspired by her own journey of overcoming challenges. This fuels her dedication to helping others rebuild their lives and achieve lasting recovery. Outside of work, Tiffany enjoys spending time with her fiancé and five children. An outdoor enthusiast, she loves snowboarding, camping, and traveling, embracing life’s adventures while making a positive impact.
