Questions About Treatment

Are your treatment programs accredited?
Yes. All of our programs are accredited by the Joint Commission.
What type of treatment do you offer?
Our treatment facilities provide evidence-based care for people struggling with alcohol or drug addictions as well as co-occurring disorders that often accompany substance abuse.
What levels of care do you offer?

Our treatment centers offer a full continuum of care that includes:

  • Medical detox and sub-acute detox
  • Inpatient treatment
  • Partial hospitalization program (PHP)
  • Intensive outpatient program (IOP)
  • Outpatient treatment
  • Sober living residences
Do you offer detox?
The first step in recovery for many clients is medical detox. We will help you through this process with research-backed medications to ease withdrawal symptoms and round-the-clock care from medical professionals. Our detox programs keep you safe and as comfortable as possible while you rid your body of toxins from drugs and alcohol.
How long does treatment last?
The recommended length of treatment varies by individual client. We will provide you with a thorough physical and psychological assessment when you enter our programs and make a recommendation based on your individual needs and situation.
Are your treatment programs 12-step based?
We introduce clients to the 12-step method as well as 12-step alternatives so they can determine what they most relate to and what best supports their recovery.
Where will I live during treatment?

Clients in our inpatient programs live in home-like residences with other people in the treatment program. Each of our treatment centers’ accommodations have their own unique personality, atmosphere, and decor, but all are welcoming and comfortable.

Clients in our partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs, and outpatient programs often choose to live in our sober living residences, allowing them to attend treatment during the day and spend evenings in a healthy, supportive environment with other people in recovery.

Can I smoke nicotine during treatment?

Yes, our rehabilitation facilities have designated smoking areas available. However, kindly note that all cigarettes brought into the facility must be in unopened packs or cartons. The same rule applies to any cigarettes sent or brought by family or friends. Our staff will be more than happy to provide you with additional details regarding these guidelines during the admission process.

Can I have visitors during treatment?

While it may depend on the specific situation during this time of the COVID-19 pandemic, facilities may allow visitors during treatment, while maintaining compliance with all CDC COVID-19 prevention practices.

Can I use my cell phone during treatment?

It is the policy of Aliya Health Group companies and its affiliates to allow clients the appropriate use of their cell phones and other electronic devices. Clients may use cellular phones and or approved electronic devices within the facility during designated use times. Clients must adhere to administrative safeguards established by the facility to protect the confidentiality and integrity of the treatment environment as well as other clients. We will set realistic limits regarding the use of cellular phones and approved electronic devices, which must include but are not limited to, an initial 72-hour minimum therapeutic hold of all cell phones and electronic devices that begins at the time of admission.

Can I call my loved ones while I’m in treatment?

Depending on a client’s stage in treatment — generally not during the first 72 hours of detoxification — clients may call loved ones in treatment during approved and designated use times.

Can I receive updates on my loved one's progress while they are in treatment?

Due to HIPAA regulations, we are legally prohibited from disclosing any client information without their express written consent. However, upon arriving at our detox facility, clients have the option to request a “safe call” to inform family or loved ones of their safe arrival. As a secure facility, our clients’ phone access is restricted, yet they are allowed one phone call each week (or more, subject to their primary therapist’s approval). These calls must be approved and overseen by their therapist to ensure compliance and privacy.
