Detox and Rehab Facility Schedule

Many people want to know what a day in rehab looks like. Reviewing a detox and rehab facility schedule can help you understand what to expect. While schedules vary, most treatment plans follow a structured daily routine.

Depending on the facility, your plan may include therapy, addiction education, and medication management. Each part of the program is designed to address substance abuse and support your journey to recovery.

What Does a Typical Day in Rehab Look Like?

Before starting treatment, many people wonder, “What do you do in rehab all day?” While every facility differs, a quality program typically includes detoxification, individual and group therapy, medication management, and addiction education.

Inpatient centers often follow structured routines with set meal times and bedtimes to help you stay focused on your recovery. Between therapeutic sessions, you will have downtime to relax and reflect. Many facilities offer activities like art, music, meditation, or journaling, as well as exercise equipment to promote physical fitness.

While no two days are exactly alike, every activity is carefully chosen to support your sobriety. Fully engaging in your treatment plan is the best way to ensure a successful recovery.

What To Expect During Drug and Alcohol Rehab at Aliya Health Group

At Aliya Health Group, we recognize that the journey to recovery can feel challenging and overwhelming. That’s why we are committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in a safe and supportive environment. Within our inpatient rehab program, our experienced clinicians collaborate closely with each individual to create a personalized treatment plan. This tailored approach ensures that every detox schedule aligns with their unique needs and recovery goals.

What Does a Typical Day in Detox Look Like?

When you or a loved one enters detox, our clinicians will conduct an initial assessment to determine their level of care. This helps us create a personalized treatment plan to ensure you get the best care possible.

After assessing the severity of the addiction, our trained nurses will develop an individual drug detox schedule. Our clinical staff will work to make each patient’s stay as comfortable and safe as possible, providing medication to manage withdrawal symptoms when needed. Our compassionate staff will also provide emotional support throughout the process.

Once withdrawal symptoms have stabilized, patients will begin participating in research-based therapies during individual and group sessions. In individual therapy, they will work with a therapist to develop coping skills and build healthy habits for long-term success.

Group therapy offers the chance to connect with others who are going through similar experiences. Participants can share feedback and learn from each other’s journeys. Therapy is mandatory during detox, unless a guest is medically unable to attend. In these cases, our medical staff will issue a pass.

Throughout detox, patients can take smoke breaks during their free time between therapy sessions. They can also go to the gym (inpatient only), watch TV, play video or card games, read, sit outside, practice yoga, or socialize.

What Does a Typical Day in Inpatient Rehab Look Like?

During inpatient rehab, patients will continue with both individual and group therapy sessions. Our addiction treatment counselors will integrate education on addiction, mental health, and relapse prevention into a patient’s daily schedule. Through these services, you’ll learn valuable skills to cope with cravings, triggers, and emotional challenges more effectively.

As patients transition into the residential inpatient part of our program, they will have the opportunity to include virtual family therapy sessions in their treatment plan. These sessions provide a safe and caring atmosphere for patients to reconnect with their loved ones and support system.

Our primary goal is to help each patient achieve long-term sobriety and equip them with the tools for a healthy, productive life in recovery. With our compassionate approach and comprehensive services, Aliya Health Group is here to support each person every step of their recovery journey.

What Does a Typical Day in Outpatient Rehab Look Like?

During outpatient rehab, patients will attend therapy and counseling sessions on a regular basis, typically 3-5 times per week. These sessions will focus on addressing the underlying causes of addiction, teaching coping skills, and providing support as patients navigate the challenges of recovery.

In addition to traditional therapy, we also offer specialized groups and workshops that cover topics such as relapse prevention, managing cravings, and building healthy relationships. Our team of experienced therapists and counselors will work with patients to develop an individualized treatment plan that meets their specific needs.

Outpatient treatment is ideal for those who have completed a residential program or for those who have less severe addiction issues. It allows patients to continue receiving professional support while also reintegrating into daily life.
