Brooke McCormick

Brooke McCormick serves as the Executive Director for Royal Life Centers’ detox, inpatient, and outpatient facilities in Prescott, Arizona. She oversees five facilities offering detox, residential treatment, partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), outpatient (OP), and sober living programs. Brooke ensures operations align with Royal Life Centers’ mission to support individuals on their recovery journey with compassion.

In addition to managing daily operations, Brooke mentors leadership teams, fostering collaboration across clinical, medical, and operational departments. Her focus on teamwork and innovative initiatives helps maintain high standards of care, safety, and compliance. She values meaningful client engagement, empowering them from their first visit.

Brooke began her career in behavioral health in 2019 as a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) at a dual-diagnosis and substance abuse center. She joined Royal Life Centers in 2021 as a BHT, quickly advancing through roles like Lead BHT, BHT Supervisor, Director of Operations, and now Executive Director.

Before entering behavioral health, Brooke studied political science at Virginia Commonwealth University and served as an Official Election Officer in Virginia for six years. She also interned in Community Relations at a public relations firm, focusing on grassroots advocacy. Later, she transitioned to the restaurant industry, excelling in roles like Event and Marketing Director and becoming a restaurateur on the East Coast and in Arizona. These experiences strengthened her leadership skills and deepened her connection to diverse communities.

Brooke has also volunteered as an assisted living aide, supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in achieving their goals. Her recovery journey inspired her career in behavioral health, guided by A. Warner’s quote: “Beneath every behavior, there is a feeling. And beneath every feeling, there is a need. When we meet that need, we begin to deal with the cause, not the symptom.” This philosophy fuels her work with those facing addiction and mental health challenges.

Brooke is passionate about advocating for others until they can advocate for themselves. She finds purpose in witnessing the transformation of individuals as they rediscover hope.

In her free time, Brooke enjoys spending time with her husband and 13-year-old daughter. They prioritize Sundays at church and connecting with extended family whenever possible.
