Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith, MS is the Director of Business Analytics for Aliya Health Group. Ryan first joined our organization in 2019 as the Senior Financial Analyst for Footprints to Recovery before transitioning into the role of Manager of Business Analysis for Aliya Health Group. 

In his early years, Ryan earned a master’s degree in taxation from Northern Illinois University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Iowa. Prior to joining Aliya, Ryan held financial analysis positions for outpatient health care facilities and hospitals. Through this experience he gained an appreciation for the work and passion of medical staff and a desire to use his skill set to support those on the front lines of health care.

Hearing that someone has completed treatment or that they have come back to continue their recovery journey is what Ryan finds most rewarding about his work. He holds deep admiration and respect for both people getting treatment and the clinicians providing it. In his free time, Ryan enjoys spending time with family; playing sports, board games, or trivia; and seeing live music or playing it himself.
